Tool Museum

The Tool Museum is the original garage for the Swift Lathers Home.  What better place to display vintage tools, with everything from saws, hammers, drill bits, axes and shovels to corn shellers, a corn planter, a bean sorter and much more.

Of special interest is a unique ladder, developed by an Oceana County Man, that was used for picking fruit.  The garage also houses the original bathroom facilities for the family’s use – a “three-holer” outhouse.  Since it was inside the garage there was no need to worry about pranksters tipping it over on Halloween.
